Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, often including an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our Services (e.g., keep you signed in, maintain session security, remember preferences) and, with your consent where required, to measure usage and improve features. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect some functionality.
Website analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are viewed, how long visits last, and which sites or searches led visitors to us.
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect technical information such as your device, browser and operating system details, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and the pages you view. This information is transmitted to and stored on servers operated by Google, which may be located outside Canada, including in the United States, and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
We use this information in aggregate to improve our website and our communications with visitors. We do not use Google Analytics to collect your name or contact details.

How we share data
Training Pulse Inc. may share your personal data from time to time as detailed below. We take reasonable measures to ensure that third parties with whom we collaborate protect your personal data. Training Pulse Inc. does not sell your personal data.
Integration with third parties
Training Pulse integrates with third-party platforms to provide you with a seamless range of features and services (e.g., hosting, analytics, email/SMS delivery, payments, SSO/LMS integrations). Where you request or enable integrations with third parties, we may share data with them as required to facilitate and give effect to the integration, following your instructions and subject to appropriate safeguards.
Data storage
Training Pulse’s primary business operations are in Alberta, Canada. Personal data may be stored and processed in Canada and in other provinces/countries where we or our service providers operate (for example, other Canadian regions or the United States). When personal data is processed outside Alberta, it may be subject to local laws and lawful access by courts, law enforcement, or government authorities in those jurisdictions. We implement contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border transfers as required by PIPA and PIPEDA.
If you require information about our current data hosting regions or vendors, please contact us (see Questions below).
Vendor assessments
Training Pulse relies on third-party vendors for infrastructure, professional advice, and other critical aspects of its business operations. We have vendor selection processes in place to assess vendors for suitability, including how vendors handle personal data. We use legally binding arrangements with vendors to ensure that personal data disclosed to vendors is protected to standards comparable to those we apply and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
Disclosures required by law
Training Pulse may disclose your personal data under special circumstances, such as where required by any applicable law or regulation, lawful request, subpoena, warrant, or court order, or when your actions violate our Terms of Service or cause harm to our rights, users, or the public.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent to our use of your personal data at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice). However, we collect personal data where we believe it is necessary to provide you with our services. Accordingly, if you withdraw your consent to our use of your personal data, we may not be able to provide such services to you.
For example, if you withdraw your consent to our use of your billing information, we will be unable to process payments from you. Consequently, we will not be able to offer you our paid services, and any paid services you have with us may be cancelled.
Access and correction of your personal data
It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us. Subject to limited exceptions under PIPA and PIPEDA, you may request access to your personal data, and correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data, at any time by contacting us (see Questions below). We will respond within the timelines required by law.
Retention of personal data
Training Pulse retains your personal data (i) where necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it; (ii) where necessary for business or legal purposes (including tax, audit, and compliance); or (iii) where required or permitted by law. When personal data is no longer required, we securely delete, de-identify, or anonymize it, subject to legal retention requirements.
